Juice Plant Technician

About the role

West Hills Farm Pty Ltd is seeking a Juice Plant Technician to join our production team in Nilgen, WA. This is a casual position that has the possibility of becoming permanent. As a Juice Plant Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring our production processes run smoothly, efficiently and safely. You will be responsible for monitoring equipment, performing routine maintenance, and supporting the scheduling and coordination of production activities to meet our operational targets.

What you'll be doing

• Operating and monitoring juice production equipment to ensure optimal performance and product quality

• Performing routine maintenance and cleaning of production machinery and facilities

• Assisting with troubleshooting equipment issues and reporting faults to supervisory staff

• Supporting production scheduling activities to help maintain efficient workflow

• Conducting quality checks on juice products throughout the production process

• Maintaining accurate records of production runs and equipment performance

• Following all health, safety and environmental protocols within the plant

• Collaborating with team members to support production targets and deadlines

• Assisting with general plant housekeeping and organisation

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in food and beverage processing

• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand and operate plant equipment

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Good communication skills and willingness to follow instructions

• Physical fitness to perform manual tasks and work in a production environment

• Flexibility to adapt to shift work and casual employment arrangements

• Basic numeracy and literacy skills

• Relevant qualifications in food production or plant operation (desirable)

• Current First Aid certification (advantageous)
