About the role

Brumbys Bakery Towerhill, a well-established bakery in Frankston, VIC, is seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team. As a Baker, you will play a vital role in the production of our high-quality baked goods, contributing to the overall success of our business. This is a full-time position based in our Frankston bakery.

What you'll be doing

1. Preparing, mixing, and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to recipes and specifications

2. Ensuring the consistent quality and appearance of baked products

3. Maintaining a clean and organised work area to meet food safety and hygiene standards

4. Collaborating with the team to identify and implement process improvements

5. Assisting with the stocking and replenishment of baked goods in the retail area

6. Providing excellent customer service and responding to customer inquiries

What we're looking for

1. Formal qualifications in baking or a related field, such as a Certificate III in Baking

2. Demonstrated experience as a Baker, preferably in a commercial bakery or similar setting

3. Minimum of 3+ years commercial baking experience is required

4. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality baked goods

5. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively

6. Good communication and teamwork skills

7. Commitment to maintaining a clean and organised work environment
