Take your HD mechanical skills into the field with SMS Mining Services.
As a Field Service HD Mechanic, you'll play a key role in supporting mining equipment across site operations, ensuring maximum reliability and uptime through breakdown repairs, diagnostics and preventative maintenance.
From dump trucks, loaders and excavators to auxiliary equipment, no two days are the same. You’ll work across a variety of sites with a high level of autonomy, backed by consistent work across the Pilbara and Goldfields and flexible roster options to suit your lifestyle.

What We’re Looking For - Australian / NZ recognised Trade Certificate - Heavy Diesel (or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 -5 years post-trade experience
- Unlimited Australian working rights
- Valid C Class Driver’s License
