Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Team Leader to lead our warehouse operations and support our growing business.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

• Lead and coordinate daily warehouse activities to ensure customer service and operational targets are consistently achieved.

• Ensure all inbound and outbound products are processed accurately, efficiently, and within agreed service level timeframes.

• Monitor workflow, allocate resources effectively, and address operational issues as they arise.

• Support inventory accuracy through bin maintenance, slotting activities, and system integrity checks.

• Assist in maintaining materials handling equipment and ensure equipment is used safely and correctly.

• Review warehouse processes and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.

• Maintain accurate operational records, shift reports, logbooks, and incident reports.

• Monitor and report on operational KPIs and team performance.

People Leadership

• Lead, coach, and motivate warehouse team members to achieve operational objectives.

• Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance team culture.

• Conduct regular performance discussions and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.

• Facilitate on-the-job training and cross-training initiatives to develop a multi-skilled workforce.

Workplace Health & Safety

• Ensure safe work practices are consistently followed by all team members.

• Identify workplace hazards, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions where required.

• Participate in safety initiatives and continuous improvement activities.

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a Warehouse Team Leader or similar leadership role.

• Proven experience leading warehouse teams in a fast-paced environment.

• Current Forklift Licence (LF) essential.

• Experience using SAP is highly desirable.

• Experience operating within a Warehouse Management System (WMS).

• Sound understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics processes.

• Strong knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety requirements.
