About the Role

We are seeking compassionate, reliable and dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our team on a casual basis in Townsville.

This role involves providing person-centred support to a specific participant, assisting with daily living activities, personal care, and community access while promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Shifts will include:

• Weekday sleepovers

• Weekend work

• Community access and transport support

• Personal care and daily living assistance
  

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have experience with hoisting and manual handling, or be willing to complete the required training

• Be comfortable providing personal care, including:

  • Continence and aid changes

  • Toileting assistance

  • Showering support

• Be confident driving a wheelchair-accessible van

• Have a caring, respectful, and person centred approach

• Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and strong communication skills

• Be available for casual shifts, including sleepovers and weekends
  

Important Information
