Delivery Courier Driver (Experienced)

Experienced Multi-Drop Delivery Driver – Vehicle Provided

Leon Transport Services is looking for experienced, safety-focused and professional Multi-Drop Delivery Drivers / Courier Drivers for an immediate start.

No truck licence required – a Full NSW C Class Driver Licence is sufficient.

We primarily operate refrigerated vans, including late-model vehicles. This is a B2B delivery role servicing regular customers across Sydney Metro and selected regional areas.

Driving Skills & Safety – Our #1 Priority

Strong driving skills and a safe driving history are the most important requirements for this role.

Our drivers spend many hours on the road in Sydney traffic, CBD areas, loading zones and customer premises. You must be confident safely manoeuvring, reversing and parking a delivery van in busy or restricted areas.

We are looking for drivers who demonstrate:

• Strong and responsible driving skills
• Good road awareness, judgement and patience
• A good driving record
• Previous courier or multi-drop delivery experience
• Good knowledge of Sydney roads and suburbs
• Ability to navigate efficiently without being completely dependent on GPS

Safety always comes before rushing to complete a delivery.

About the Deliveries

This is primarily business-to-business (B2B) delivery rather than residential parcel delivery.

Our customers include hotels, restaurants, bistros, aged-care facilities and other hospitality/commercial businesses.

A typical route consists of approximately 15–25 deliveries per day, depending on the area.

Many routes and customers are regular and repetitive, so drivers generally become familiar with delivery locations, access points and customer requirements as they learn the route.

Training will be provided on routes, customer requirements, product handling and our delivery procedures.

Professional Presentation & Customer Service

Our drivers represent both Leon Transport Services and our customers' brands, so professional presentation and behaviour are extremely important.

Drivers are expected to:

• Arrive clean, presentable and ready for work
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers
• Provide friendly and reliable customer service
• Build good relationships with regular customers
• Handle products and equipment with care
• Maintain a professional attitude at all timesDelivery App & POD Requirements

Drivers must be comfortable using a smartphone and willing to learn our customer's delivery application.

The app is used throughout the route to manage deliveries and pickups, and drivers are responsible for ensuring that every job has the required Proof of Delivery (POD).

This may include:

• Completing pickups and deliveries through the app
• Taking clear POD photos
• Obtaining signatures when required
• Recording accurate delivery information
• Reporting immediately if a POD cannot be completed

Training on the application will be provided, but accurate POD completion is an essential part of the job.

Pay & Working Hours

• $30–$35 per hour, depending on work frequency, availability and experience
• Break times included/paid
• Routes generally start at approximately 7:00 am
• Sydney Metro: generally finish around 4:00–5:00 pm
• Regional routes: may finish around 6:00–7:00 pm, depending on destination, traffic and route
• Metro work is available Monday to Saturday
• Regional routes generally operate Monday, Wednesday and Friday
• Work frequency and preferred days can be discussed

Applicants accepting regional routes should be comfortable with the longer working days.

Vehicle & Equipment Provided

Company vehicle is provided – you do not need your own vehicle.

Our fleet primarily consists of refrigerated vans, including late-model, well-maintained vehicles.

Essential Requirements

• Full NSW C Class Driver Licence
• Good driving record
• Strong and confident driving skills
• Previous courier/multi-drop delivery experience
• Good knowledge of Sydney roads and suburbs
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Professional personal presentation
• Comfortable using smartphones and delivery apps
• Ability to work to delivery schedules without compromising safety
• Reliable, honest and responsible
• Good attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and follow procedures
