About the Role

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, securing and growing profitable packaging partnerships across Australia.

Our Packaging business is evolving into a nationally recognised contract packaging provider, delivering high-quality solutions to FMCG manufacturers, emerging brands, importers and retailers across Australia. By combining commercial excellence with social impact, we create meaningful employment opportunities while delivering exceptional outcomes for our customers.

As our Strategic Account Manager - Packaging, you will drive sustainable revenue growth by developing strategic customer relationships, building a high-quality pipeline and securing commercially viable contracts within the FMCG packaging market. You'll focus on identifying, qualifying and converting opportunities that align to our growth strategy, with an emphasis on repeatable, scalable and profitable work.

You will lead the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting and solution development through to negotiation, contract conversion and account growth. Working closely with Product Specialists, Operations and Commercial teams, you'll ensure customer solutions are commercially viable, operationally deliverable and positioned for long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies that drive sustainable revenue growth within the FMCG packaging market.
• Identify, prospect and convert new business opportunities across priority customer segments including FMCG manufacturers, emerging brands, importers and major retailers.
• Build and strengthen relationships with key decision makers, Category Managers and Buying Teams.
• Lead end-to-end sales activities including prospecting, quoting, solution development, negotiation and contract conversion.
• Develop a strong pipeline of profitable, repeatable and scalable commercial opportunities.
• Apply structured sales disciplines including CRM management, forecasting and lead qualification frameworks.
• Collaborate with Product Specialists and Operations teams to ensure solutions align with capability, pricing and customer expectations.
• Support regional sales growth by sharing market intelligence, customer insights and commercial best practice.
• Contribute to pricing strategy, market analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive long-term customer partnerships that deliver sustainable growth and improved commercial outcomes.

About You

You are a commercially astute sales professional with a strong history of delivering growth and building strategic customer relationships within FMCG, packaging, manufacturing, logistics or contract services environments.

You'll Bring

• Significant experience in commercial sales, business development and strategic account management.
• Demonstrated success securing new business and driving sustainable revenue growth.
• Strong commercial experience in packaging and/or product solutions sales within FMCG markets.
• Experience engaging customers across national retail channels and understanding retail sales cycles, range reviews and category management processes.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement, relationship building and negotiation skills.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing, margin management and contract negotiation.
• Experience working collaboratively with cross functional teams including Operations, Quality, Product and Commercial functions.
• Strong pipeline management, forecasting and CRM capability.
• The ability to influence, coach and support sales teams to achieve commercial outcomes.

Desirable

• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Sales, Marketing or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of FMCG, contract packaging, manufacturing or industrial services sectors.
• Exposure to compliance-driven industries such as food, pharmaceutical or manufacturing environments.
