SALES MANAGER

CNW Electrical Wholesale is an Australian family owned and operated Electrical Wholesaler with a national branch network. Regarded as the leading independent, CNW have the most highly motivated and skilled people in the industry working in our branches.  We are on the hunt for highly motivated Sales Manager who is looking to make their mark in our Alexandria branch.

The ideal applicant for this role is someone who has strong leadership qualities and enjoys the challenge of leading a sales team in a very busy and successful branch.  Working autonomously and given ownership of your role this position is the perfect opportunity to build a progressive career.

To be successful, your application will reflect experience in a similar environment; ideally you will have previous success in a business to business product sales position and with a background in the electrical industry.  This position is best suited to an energetic, ambitious person who holds advanced business relationship development skills and enjoys nurturing strong customer relations.

The Roles & Responsibilities of this role include:

• Leading, overseeing & motivating an internal sales team

• Setting & Evaluating Sales Goals

• Developing & Implement Sales Plans & Strategies

• Building & Maintaining Customer Relations

• Prioritise health and safety above all else in the workplace

• Developing and executing a sales plan to meet or exceed company targets and goals. 

• Building a broad base of 'Active Accounts' to meet company KPI's. 

• Oversee the 'on boarding' of all new customers to build strong relationships

• Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for the Branch Manager.

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.

• Create, attend and represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences

The successful applicant will ideally have:

• Electrical knowledge or trade background – this is preferable but not essential

• Current and valid Australian driver’s licence is essential.

• Previous sales experience, promoting Industrial, Residential, Commercial, data product ranges as well as experience building business relationships with fellow team members, key accounts, and electrical contractors.

• Well-developed organisational, planning and prioritisation skills.

• Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills.

• Intermediate computer skills.
