Based at Perilya's Adelaide head office, you'll be joining a collaborative finance team within a global organisation that is committed to continuous improvement, professional development and maintaining the highest standards of financial governance.

So, what's the role?
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll become part of the Group Finance team, supporting the financial reporting, consolidation and compliance activities across Perilya's Australian and international operations.

This is an opportunity for an Accountant with around 2-3 years' experience who is looking to step into a more complex corporate environment. You'll gain exposure to multi-entity reporting, international operations, statutory reporting, budgeting, forecasting and ERP systems, while being supported by an experienced team who are invested in your development.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with monthly management reporting, journals, reconciliations and month-end close.
• Supporting group consolidations across multiple entities and international jurisdictions.
• Assisting with half-year and annual statutory financial reporting.
• Contributing to budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Supporting GST, FBT, payroll tax and other compliance obligations.
• Preparing audit working papers and assisting with external and internal audits.
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders across Adelaide, Broken Hill and the Dominican Republic.

What are we looking for?
We're looking for someone who enjoys learning, takes pride in producing accurate work and wants to continue building their career within a sophisticated finance environment.

Ideally you'll bring:

• CA or CPA qualification (or currently working towards it).
• Minimum 2-3 years' accounting experience.
• Strong month-end accounting experience, including journals and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Excel
• Experience working with an ERP system (Pronto experience will be highly regarded).
• Experience working across multiple entities or within a more complex corporate environment (multi-jurisdiction exposure is ideal).
• Exposure to statutory reporting, consolidations or audit processes will be advantageous.
• A proactive approach with a genuine willingness to learn.
• A positive attitude and collaborative, team-first mindset.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet reporting deadlines.
