Venue Manager

Juanita Peaches / All day donuts in Brunswick is one of Melbourne's most unique venues, why? Its the only venue that serves Burgers, Fried chicken, burritos and donuts, that are all made in house. We even make our own buns. This approach has ensured our quality is high and our vision is clear. 

We're looking for a Venue Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of the business, working closely with our supervisors and operations team to ensure the venue continues to grow while maintaining the standards our customers know and trust.

You'll lead our front of house, kitchen and donut production teams across people, culture, service standards and financial performance. Most of your week will be spent on the floor, working alongside the team, coaching staff, supporting service and ensuring everything runs to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams across front of house, kitchen and donut production

• Drive exceptional service standards and guest experiences

• Recruit, onboard and manage staff performance

• Manage sales performance, labour costs and venue profitability

• Maintain compliance, food safety and cleanliness standards

• Work alongside supervisors and the operations team to achieve business goals

• Foster a culture where staff are proud of their work and customers feel it

• Identify opportunities for improvement and help the business continue to evolve

Previous Experience / About You

• Minimum 1 year experience in a Venue Manager or Restaurant Manager role

• Strong financial acumen with experience managing labour, costs and P&L performance

• Experience conducting staff appraisals, coaching and performance reviews

• A genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive team culture
