Storeman – Bibra Lake Workshop

CrewSELECT is currently seeking an experienced Storeman to join a busy switchboard manufacturing workshop based in Bibra Lake. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hands-on candidate looking to secure long-term employment within a well-established workshop environment.

About the Role

Working within a switchboard workshop, you will be responsible for coordinating deliveries, moving equipment and materials throughout the workshop, assisting with stock control, and supporting the Workshop Leading Hand with day-to-day operations.

This role is suited to someone who is organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Unloading deliveries using a forklift
• Checking incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery dockets
• Organising and putting away stock and materials
• Packing, wrapping, and preparing switchboards for collection and transport
• Operating gantry cranes to move switchboards throughout the workshop
• Assisting the Workshop Leading Hand with daily workshop duties
• Monitoring stock levels and assisting with material control
• Following up overdue materials and liaising with purchasing when required
• Maintaining workshop cleanliness and organisation
• Assisting with general workshop and yard duties as required

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience working in a storeman or workshop support role
• Current Forklift Licence essential
• Gantry Crane experience essential
• Dogman or Gantry Crane ticket highly regarded
• Ability to work safely within an industrial workshop environment
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Reliable work ethic and ability to work within a team

• Temp to Perm opportunity
• $35 – $40/hr depending on experience
• 40-hour week with 9-day fortnight
• Monday to Thursday: 6:00am – 3:00pm
• Friday: 6:00am – 2:30pm
