THE OPPORTUNITY

The purpose of this role is to pro-actively finalise workers compensation claims and manage a portfolio of non-significant workers compensation claims in accordance with EML’s guidelines, policies and procedures.
This will be a full time, permanent position based in the Sydney office with flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week considered from month three, subject to performance and approval.
Your Responsibilities
Reviewing and analysing each claim in your portfolio and making appropriate claims management decisions in accordance with EML policies, procedures and compliance requirementsDeveloping, monitoring and updating Claims Management Plans (CMPs) to achieve positive Return To Work (RTW) goalsForecasting, developing and implementing strategies to overcome potential barriers in order to ensure a timely and durable RTW for the injured workerDeveloping a working understanding of the relevant legislation or policy
About You
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and OutlookAbility to accurately use multiple software in a high volume and fast paced environmentEffectively manage your time in order to achieve deadlines within required timeframesStrong attention to detail and a sense of urgency
