Greenkeeper/Groundsman

Our workload continues to grow and we are looking for multiple team members to join our Turf Services team. We are seeking a greenkeeper/grounds person to carry out greenkeeping duties on a range of sports fields, parks and foreshores. Experience in greenkeeping/ turf industry is favoured, the ability to solve problems and work in a variety of environments. 

This role involves working predominantly as a solo machine operator as part of our Turf Services department, with work starting and finishing at our base in Stapylton. Our work includes turf maintenance of sports fields and parks on council and private sites, and includes aspects of green-keeping such as spraying, renovations, granular fertilising and occasionally mowing.

Essential Qualifications/ Experience:

• Greenkeeping or sports turf industry knowledge

• Open C Class - ability to obtain an MR/HR;

• White Card;

Desirable Skills/ Qualifications:

• Cert lll Horticulture (Sports Turf Management) or equivalent or currently studying;

• ACDC Licence (or able to obtain);

• Some grass species, weed and pest identification skills;

• Some experience and knowledge of chemical products and their uses;

• Machinery experience 

Job security for our team members is important to us, so these are full time permanent roles with annual leave, personal leave etc and RDO hours. Outstanding employees may be considered for industry training and qualifications after a probationary period. We have an on-site gym, personal trainer, nutritionist and free annual skin checks.
