About the role

We're looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen at Social Dining and help shape the next chapter for one of the Precinct's standout dining spaces. You'll be responsible for menu direction, kitchen leadership and consistent execution across both daily service and large-scale events.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the kitchen team across daily service and events

• Design and execute a seasonal menu built around quality, local produce

• Maintain consistency and excellence across every dish, every service

• Manage food cost, ordering, stock control and kitchen budgets

• Ensure full HACCP, WHS and food safety compliance

• Work closely with the Restaurant Manager and events team to deliver a seamless guest experience, from long lunches to weddings

About you

• Proven experience as a Head Chef, or a senior Sous Chef ready to step up

• Strong skills across modern Australian cuisine, house-made pasta and premium proteins

• A confident, hands-on leader who builds and mentors a strong kitchen team

• Commercially minded, with solid experience managing food cost and stock

• Calm, organised and switched on across both service and events
