What You'll Be Doing

As a Digital Technical Analyst embedded within the Omni Digital team, you’ll operate at the intersection of data, technology, and customer experience—turning complex digital signals into clear, actionable insights. Based at our Melbourne CBD office, your key responsibilities will include:

• Owning the integrity of digital analytics implementation across web and app platforms, including tagging, tracking, and data layer management
• Leading and maintaining accurate data flows from Google Analytics into BigQuery and Snowflake, ensuring data quality, consistency, and scalable structure
• Monitoring, diagnosing, and improving data quality issues, working across engineering, product, and analytics teams to refine and optimise data pipelines
• Partnering with product and engineering teams to define measurement frameworks aligned to commercial and customer outcomes
• Working with Digital Trading teams to support delivery day-to-day trading insights to support performance optimisation
• Producing analysis and reporting that connects digital behaviour to trading performance and omnichannel outcomes

What You’ll Need to Thrive

• Proven experience in a digital analytics or technical analyst role, ideally within retail or eCommerce
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Analytics 4, including implementation, tracking design, and optimisation
• Practical experience working with BigQuery and Snowflake, with a focus on structuring, validating, and maintaining high-quality datasets
• Experience working with tools such as Sigma for reporting and data exploration
• Knowledge of tag management systems (Google Tag Manager) and data layer implementation
• Track record of monitoring and improving data quality across systems and pipelines
• Experience supporting omnichannel or unified commerce environments, where online and in-store data intersect
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical outputs into clear, commercially meaningful insights
