About the Role

A highly creative, organised, and tech-savvy Video Editor & Videographer- DTC to manage and execute various aspects of our brand’s visual storytelling and content execution. Have a passion for social-first video content, who thrives in fast-paced environments, and is confident managing both digital and production workflows.

You will play a key role in driving our visual content strategy for DTC across social platforms, supporting our Social & Brand Manager.

This is a full-time, hybrid position based at our Mornington HQ. Given the hands-on nature of the role, you’ll enjoy the opportunity to travel to campaign shoots and other content production locations as needed.

Responsibilities:

1. Social Video & Content Editing

• Shoot & Edit highly engaging short-form videos optimized for platforms like, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Pinterest.
• Shoot & Edit long-form videos for YouTube and promotions.
• Ideation for creative short films to shoot and help elevate the brand.
• High attention to detail when editing and an extremely good knowledge of colour grading and LUTS
• Great Knowledge of video camera equipment and lighting.
• Maintain brand voice and visual identity through all video content.
• Edit behind-the-scenes, product, and lifestyle content from shoots for maximum engagement.
• A good understanding of music score and what music would work for each piece of content
• Knowing to export in multiple formats

2. Brand Folder Management

• Maintain and organize brand asset libraries (videos, video ads, video assets etc.) in brand folders or digital asset management systems as well as in Dropbox.
• Ensure assets are tagged, named, and categorized for easy team access.
• Regularly update folders with new video content from shoots and campaigns.

3. Video Ad Creation

• Create high-performing video ads for paid social campaigns.
• Working in Cuttable AI to create video ad sets.
• Collaborate with Digital Performance Specialist to align creative with ad strategies.
• Track digital performance and iterate on creative formats based on insights.
• Stay ahead of social media video trends to proactively provide ideas and suggestions
• Create seamless high-end animation with text and graphics to footage to create engaging ads.

4. Shoot Organization and Execution

• Assist Brand Manager in Planning and coordinate logistics for shoots.
• Create and manage shoot briefs, and timelines.
• Capture content (if required) and support the creative direction on set.
• Organisation of photoshoots under the guidance of the Brand Manager
• Communicate and confirm all details with stakeholders in advance.

6. Pinterest, TikTok & YouTube Shorts Management

• With the Brand Manager to develop and schedule regular content across Pinterest, TikTok & YouTube Shorts to grow audience and engagement.
• Implement platform best practices including trends, hashtags, and audio trends.
• Report on performance metrics and provide recommendations for optimization.
• Own the organic content plan and creation for TikTok and Pinterest. Drive engagement through regular posting, trends, and audience-focused content. Proactively create content that speaks to both new and existing audiences, ensuring content maintains brand guidelines and level of output.

7. Social Media Support

• Collaborate with the Brand Manager on monthly content calendars, campaign ideation, and creative planning.
• Support with scheduling posts, and content publishing.
• Gather content ideas from trend research, community feedback, and platform insights.
• Assist with performance reporting and insights analysis.
