Sandwich Hand

you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe kitchen, assisting with food preparation, and managing stock. Key duties include washing dishes, cleaning equipment and surfaces, preparing ingredients like chopping vegetables, assembling sandwiches and salads, receiving and storing deliveries, and taking out trash. Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitation: Wash dishes, pots, and utensils; clean kitchen floors, counters, and equipment; and ensure the work area is clean and meets hygiene standards.
• Food preparation: Wash, peel, and chop fruits and vegetables; prepare ingredients for sandwiches, wraps, and salads; and assist with other food preparation tasks as needed.
• Stock and delivery: Receive, store, and retrieve food deliveries; check and weigh supplies; and rotate stock to ensure freshness.
• Assembly: Assemble sandwiches, wraps, and other grab-and-go items according to menu specifications and customer orders.
• Waste management: Dispose of trash and ensure all waste receptacles are clean and emptied regularly.
• Team support: Assist chefs and other staff with various kitchen tasks, especially during peak times.
