About the role

City Cave Revesby is seeking an experienced Massage Therapist to join our team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a progressive wellness centre located in Revesby NSW 2212. As a Massage Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality therapeutic treatments to our diverse client base, contributing to their physical wellbeing and recovery. This position offers flexibility and the chance to make a meaningful impact on clients' health and wellness journeys.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting comprehensive consultations with clients to assess their health history, physical condition and specific therapeutic needs

• Performing a range of massage therapy techniques including remedial, relaxation, sports and specialised massage treatments tailored to individual client requirements

• Developing personalised treatment plans and providing professional advice on self-care and injury prevention

• Maintaining accurate and detailed client records, documenting treatment outcomes and progress

• Ensuring treatment spaces are clean, hygienic and professionally prepared for each client

• Building and maintaining strong client relationships through exceptional service and professional communication

• Following all health and safety protocols and maintaining professional standards at all times

What we're looking for

• A recognised qualification in Massage Therapy (Diploma or higher) from an accredited institution

• Current registration or eligibility for registration with a relevant professional body (such as AAMT or similar)

• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology and various massage modalities and their therapeutic applications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build client rapport and trust

• Demonstrated ability to assess client needs and tailor treatment approaches accordingly

• Professional approach to client confidentiality and data protection

• Experience in remedial massage or other specialist areas is highly desirable
