Applications Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Leading business analysis activities to identify and document business requirements
• Collaborating with stakeholders across the business to translate business needs into effective processes and system solutions
• Driving process improvement initiatives and supporting organisational change
• Developing business cases, project briefs, and cost-benefit analyses for technology initiatives
• Supporting the delivery of reporting, insights, and data models to enable informed decision-making
• Leading requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution design activities
• Working with cross-functional teams through feasibility, design, testing, implementation, and go-live phases
• Supporting business readiness, user adoption, and training activities for new systems and processes
• Managing stakeholder engagement to ensure solutions align with business objectives and deliver value

• Experience and understanding of business and IT needs in transport services 
• Experienced in a Business Analyst and project management capacity with the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
• Demonstrable track record of successfully contributing to the delivery of complex, large scale IT projects (3+ years’ experience). 
• Proven direct management experience in either Agile and Waterfall project methodologies and SDLC processes 
• Experience working with 3rd party IT providers and/or system integrators in country, regional and possibly globally 
• Ensuring accurate understanding of business case development and benefits realisation is consistently done by the team 
• Experience with techniques such as use case analysis, data/process flow diagramming, process mapping and detailed business and functional requirements documentation
