The Sales Manager – Engineering Solutions, is a pivotal role in leading the Solutions Specialists and Temporary Works Engineers to drive revenue and growth outcomes. The Sales Manager will analyse market trends, identify potential customer segments, and create action plans to expand the company’s market share. Working closely with the sales team, they will design initiatives to maximise lead generation, conversion rates, and customer retention based on these and existing strategies.

• Lead our uncompromising Safety-First culture throughout the organisation and customer relationships.
• Develop plans with the Sales team to drive product and services revenue opportunities through existing and new customer base.
• Identify priority product categories and develop business plans in-conjunction with Category Managers to drive product and services revenue.
• Develop personal development plans to ensure that the sales team  have the skills, knowledge, business tools and ability to effectively prospect for product growth opportunities and engineered solutions.
• Provide strong leadership to the team to drive maximum engagement and sales performance.
• Foster strong relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure execution of end to end services are carried out safely and efficiently.
  
  

What you’ll bring to the role

• Construction, Engineering or Technical Sales backgrounds will suit this role. 
• 5+ years Sales Management experience.
• Proven sales performance ability.
• Proven ability to coach and mentor individuals - Foster and drive a collaborative sales culture based on a strong desire to win and outperform competitors.
• Ability to demonstrate exceptional leadership skills and qualities to lead a high performing sales team and retention of staff.
• Ability to develop strong internal relationships with CMG members across the BU.
• Exhibit a highly professional approach to time management and productivity, sales effectiveness efficiency.
