Clinical Facilitator, Reproductive and Neonatal Health

• Part-time opportunity | 10.875 hours per week 
• Academic Level AC-A Salary $80,371.78 - $107,395.85 (Pro rata for part time) plus up to 17% employer superannuation contributions
• Based at our Townsville Bebegu Yumba campus in Douglas

YOUR ROLE IN SHAPING CLINICAL PRACTICE

As Clinical Facilitator, you will support undergraduate and postgraduate students through the reproductive and neonatal health curriculum, bridging academic theory with real-world clinical application. Working within a collaborative academic team, your key responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating clinical placements and simulation-based learning in reproductive and neonatal health contexts
• Providing formative and summative assessment feedback that builds student confidence and competence
• Maintaining currency with evidence-based practice to ensure curriculum relevance for tropical and regional health settings
• Supporting students navigating placement environments, including those in remote and Indigenous community contexts

WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO THE ROLE

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse, Midwife, or relevant allied health professional
• Demonstrated clinical expertise in reproductive health, obstetrics, or neonatal care
• Experience in clinical supervision, preceptorship, or formal teaching at a tertiary or health service level
• Understanding of the unique health challenges facing communities in North Queensland and remote Australia
• Strong communication skills and the ability to support a diverse student cohort
• A current driver's licence and willingness to support students across placement sites in the region
