The Opportunity

With our continued growth and success, we are seeking an experienced Finance Officer to join our team. Under the support and guidance of the Revenue Manager, you will play a key role in delivering day-to-day accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, claims processing, transactions, and reconciliations. Working collaboratively with internal teams and service participants, you will ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial services that support the operational needs of the organisation.

The role will be full-time, working from Monday to Friday at our Head Office based in Coniston. You will work collaboratively with the Finance team to undertake the following responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, claims processing, receipting, stakeholder enquiries, and debt collection.
• Perform regular reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support reporting requirements, system maintenance, and financial processing activities.

The base salary for this role is between $80,000 to $85,700 (plus 12% superannuation) to be determined upon relevant experience and qualifications.

As the ideal candidate, you will possess:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally supported by a relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong communication skills with proven ability to collaborate with internal departments and service participants to develop on-time proposals.
• A passion for numbers and a knack for problem-solving to meet deadlines and complex challenges.
• Enthusiasm for a dynamic, fast-paced and multi-skilled environment.
• Commitment to a long-term career and continual learning.
• Knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is desirable.
• A cleared and valid NDIS Screening Check and Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
• Valid Australian Working Rights.
