Southern Cross Marine Supplies is a subsidiary of Superior Food Group. Due to the continual growth of our organisation, we have an opportunity for a combined role of HR Truck Driver / Crane Operator to join our team in Gladstone.

Overview

Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, it is a full-time position that would include but not be limited to the following tasks:

Your day-to-day will look something like this: 

To load vessels at various ports in Gladstone

• Loading and unloading trucks using an electric pallet jack/forklift in the warehouse
• Operate crane and drive HR Truck.
• Other duties as assigned by the Manager.
• Weekend work might be required (if necessary)

All about you: 

• Must possess a valid HR Truck Licence.
• Current CV/Hiab Crane Licence preferred not essential - We will help to obtain CV Crane license
• Past experience in a warehouse or ability to pick pack
• Valid Forklift license is preferred 
• Strong knowledge and focus on WHS procedures.
• Great communication and customer service skills.
• Self-motivation and an unending desire to excel.
• Ability to obtain Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) card is essential. (Company will pay for application)
