Semester 1, 2027 Fixed-Term Opportunities (Part-Time)

Christ Church Grammar School is seeking passionate and innovative Art educators to join our highly regarded Art Department for Semester 1, 2027.
We have two fixed-term, part-time teaching opportunities available:
Visual Arts Teacher (0.50 FTE)
ATAR Media and Lower School Design Teacher (0.70 FTE)
Applications are welcomed from teachers interested in either role or from suitably qualified candidates who may be capable of teaching across both areas. About the Role
These are key positions within the Art Department and offer the opportunity to inspire creativity, critical thinking and student achievement through contemporary and engaging learning experiences.
The successful applicants will teach in one or more of the following areas:
Visual Arts (Years 7-10)
ATAR Media Production and Analysis
Lower School Design
Photography (highly desirable)
Media Arts (desirable)
Working collaboratively with colleagues, you will contribute to curriculum development, assessment design, exhibitions, showcases and the broader co-curricular life of the School. You will also support students' academic, personal and creative development, helping them grow as capable, confident and engaged young men.
About You
You are a passionate educator who values creativity, academic excellence and meaningful relationships with students.
To be successful in these roles, you will bring:
Experience teaching Visual Arts, Media and/or Design
Experience teaching ATAR Media Production and Analysis (essential for the Media and Design role)
Photography experience (highly desirable)
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues
A commitment to contemporary teaching practice and continuous professional growth
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute positively to a high-performing team
Genuine care for student wellbeing and holistic education
Enthusiasm to participate in the wider life of the School through pastoral and co-curricular programs
