Alltype Engineering is a multifaceted engineering company providing fabrication and installation services to the Oil & Gas, Water, Power Generation, Infrastructure, Mining, Resources, Utility, Petrochemical and Defence industries, in both the private and public sectors. 

We provide pipework systems, mild steel cement lined (MSCL) piping & fittings, structural steel, plate fabrication, site installation, maintenance and Industrial Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) services.

Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to be based at the Company's head office in Naval Base on a full-time basis, for a 7 month fixed term contract. The position will report to the Senior Management Accountant. The successful applicant should possess strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, great time management skills and a positive can-do attitude.

The successful candidate will be offered a remuneration package commensurate with their experience and the current market.

Key Duties include but are not limited to:

• Preparation of monthly management reports
• Co-ordination of end of month processes and reporting
• Issue, entry and review monthly cost to complete reporting
• Calculation and lodgement of statutory taxes
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Daily bank reconciliations and cashflow entry
• Labour reporting and analysis
• Debtor claim issuing and management
• Review of creditor payment runs
• Processing of journals
• Management of the asset register system, to include reconciling, updating and maintaining the register of assets held
• Management of the inventory system
• Insurance claims
• Assist with year-end audit requests and reports
• Support for the Senior Management Accountant as required.

 Qualifications

To be a successful in this role, you will bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA/CA qualified or working towards qualification (preferred)
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in accounting role
• Be highly motivated, enjoy a busy working schedule and be comfortable dealing with a high- volume workload
• Display flexibility, initiative, and the ability to work autonomously, as well as integrate with the rest of the Finance team
• High attention to detail with sound commercial acumen
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Experience with Pronto software is advantageous
