Project Manager - Facades

A leading facade construction and engineering company situated in Melbourne requires a highly skilled Facade Project Manager. Established for over 40 years,  this company has developed a reputation for high quality commercial projects. The company has been successfully involved in numerous large commercial and institutional projects in the Australian marketplace.

This is an opportunity to work in a highly rewarding and challenging environment with a leading Facade Contractor. You will be exposed to many aspects of the facade industry, from concept design and client liaison, through tender design and pricing, detailed design and engineering, testing, fabrication and site supervision. This role offers the appropriate person an excellent opportunity to sharpen skills and knowledge base on major projects, and increase professional standing within the Facade industry.

In this role you will be required to manage multiple projects, liaise with the clients and sub-contractors, and provide necessary support for project relevant issues.

The successful candidate will require the following attributes:
•Tertiary qualifications or construction trade background with a proven ability in a similar role;
•Project Management experience delivering high quality results;
•Strong problem solving ability and able to work in a team environment to achieve key project deliverables;
•Excellent communication skills and organisational skills;
•Strong technical capabilities and client liaison ability;
•Knowledge of OH&S practices and policies.

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a strong pedigree in the facade construction industry, with 5 – 10 years project management experience.

Packages to the value of $150k or more available, dependent upon experience.
