About the Opportunity

As a Field Service Technician with BTP, you'll be working across a major open-cut operation, delivering critical maintenance, breakdown support and component changeouts on Caterpillar and Komatsu equipment.

You won't be stuck in a workshop. This is hands-on, field-based work where no two days are the same and your ability to diagnose and solve problems is what sets you apart.

What You'll Be Doing

• Field-based preventative maintenance and breakdown diagnostics
• Fault finding across powertrain, hydraulic and electrical systems
• Performing component changeouts safely and efficiently
• Working directly with site teams to keep equipment moving
• Utilising CAT SIS and ET systems for diagnostics and reporting

What You Bring

• Relevant Australian recognised trade qualification (essential)
• Experience in a Field Service or customer-facing role
• Strong diagnostic capability across CAT & Komatsu equipment
• Solid understanding of CAT SIS and ET systems
• A commitment to safety, quality and accountability

Highly regarded:

• Coal Board Medical + Standard 11
• Working at Heights / Confined Space
• Dogging / HR Licence
