Rubbish Removal Driver/Labourer

Tipeco Waste Management is seeking a reliable and hardworking Rubbish Removal Driver/Labourer to join our growing team.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys physical work, working outdoors and being part of a small, hardworking crew. You will assist with cleaning construction sites, commercial properties, residential properties and other work sites across Sydney and surrounding areas.

Your main responsibility will be collecting rubbish and loose materials scattered throughout work sites and loading them safely onto our rubbish removal trucks.

Daily duties may include:

• Picking up rubbish, construction waste and loose materials from around work sites

• Loading rubbish and waste materials onto trucks

• Sweeping and cleaning site areas

• Separating recyclable materials where required

• Assisting with household clean-outs, site clean-ups and property clearances

• Safely lifting and carrying rubbish, furniture and other materials

• Securing loads and helping prepare trucks for transport

• Following instructions from the driver or site supervisor

• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

• Assisting with basic truck and equipment cleaning

• Following all workplace health and safety procedures

We are looking for someone who is:

• Reliable and consistently arrives on time

• Physically fit and comfortable completing manual labour

• Willing to work outdoors in different weather conditions

• Able to safely lift and carry heavy or awkward items

• Hardworking with a positive attitude

• Able to follow instructions and work efficiently

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

• Respectful when dealing with customers, builders and site managers

• Safety-conscious and aware of their surroundings

• Available for early morning starts when required

Previous rubbish removal, construction, demolition, landscaping, warehousing or general labouring experience would be highly regarded, but is not essential for the right person.

• A current driver’s license is preferred

• A truck license would be a massive advantage

• An MR, HR or higher-class truck license would be highly regarded

• A valid White Card is preferred

• Applicants must have reliable transport to get to the designated meeting point or yard

• Applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia
