Automotive Technician / Mechanic

About the role

Reporting to the Workshop Controller, you'll deliver high-quality service, maintenance, diagnostics and repair work across the Toyota model range, in line with manufacturer standards.

Key responsibilities

• Logbook servicing, routine maintenance and scheduled inspections to manufacturer standard across the full model lineup

• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults using the latest diagnostic tools and technology

• Carrying out warranty and customer-pay repairs, getting it right the first time

• Completing vehicle health checks and providing clear, honest assessments customers can rely on

• Working closely with Service Advisors and Parts Interpreters to communicate findings and keep repairs on schedule

• Maintaining a clean, safe and productive workshop environment

About you

• Trade qualification as an Automotive Technician / Motor Mechanic

• Previous dealership experience highly regarded

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

• Works methodically and independently, with a high standard of finish on every vehicle

• Team-first attitude and strong communication skills

• Full Australian working rights

• Current Australian driver's licence
