Contract Administrator

Mena Contractors is looking for a motivated and commercially minded Contracts Administrator to join our growing team.

We specialise in the supply and installation of fire doors, solid core doors, metal door frames and architectural door hardware across major construction projects throughout Sydney.

Working closely with our Project Managers and management team, you will help manage the commercial and contractual side of projects from tender and contract award through to completion.

The Role

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing contracts, scopes, specifications and project documentation
• Preparing quotations and assisting with tenders
• Monitoring project budgets, costs and commercial performance
• Obtaining and reviewing supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Preparing, submitting and tracking variations
• Preparing and managing progress claims
• Reviewing subcontractor and supplier invoices for approval
• Ensuring additional works and costs are captured and claimed
• Liaising with builders, clients, suppliers and subcontractors
• Monitoring contractual requirements, deadlines and project deliverables
• Maintaining accurate project, contract, variation and cost records
• Working closely with Project Managers to support successful project delivery
• Assisting with the resolution of commercial and contractual matters

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in Contracts Administration, Project Coordination or a similar construction role
• Has a good understanding of construction contracts, variations and progress claims
• Is commercially minded and confident working with project costs
• Has strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Can manage multiple projects and competing priorities
• Communicates confidently with builders, subcontractors and suppliers
• Is comfortable reading construction drawings, scopes and specifications
• Has good Microsoft Excel and general computer skills
• Takes ownership of their work and follows tasks through to completion

Experience within commercial construction, fit-out, doors, hardware or a related building trade would be highly regarded.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $80,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Seven Hills NSW 2147: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
