What's the role?

The Westpac SME sector continues to play a vital role in supporting Australian businesses, and we're looking for an experienced Business Banking Manager to join our Newcastle team.

You'll manage a diverse portfolio of Small to Medium Enterprise customers, building genuine relationships and helping businesses achieve their ambitions. Working alongside a passionate and collaborative team, you'll spend your days connecting with customers, identifying opportunities, structuring lending solutions and providing trusted guidance every step of the way.

This is a full-time opportunity based in Newcastle, where you'll combine relationship management, business development and customer service to create positive outcomes for local businesses and communities. 

What do I need?

• Proven experience in business banking with solid lending knowledge
• Good understanding of credit risk and compliance
• Passion for going above and beyond customers' expectations of good service
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
• Ability to confidently and proactively target new business opportunities
