Cassign is a family-run signage and fabrication business in Warrnambool, going since 1983, and one of the largest signage providers in regional Victoria. We specialise in illuminated & fabricated signage and count a number of large national companies among our clients. We take real pride in our end result, local relationships, and commitment to our clients expectations.

About the role

As we continue to grow, we're looking for someone to share the load on the heavier, more technical side of our work - the multi-faceted installs that need an experienced tradesperson. You'll run jobs on site from the measure-up through to final fix: from installing framework, rigid signage, building cladding, running crane lifts, and working at heights. The role can involve travel to sites across the state, and between the larger jobs you'll lend a hand on local installs and maintenance. It's varied work, and you won't be doing the same thing every day.

Who we're after

You don't need a signage background for this. If you're a builder, shopfitter, electrician, fabricator, metalworker, or a good all round tradesperson after a change, have a look. What we care about is that you know your trade, do good work, and can be left to get on with a job.

You'll bring:

• Solid trade skills and the confidence to run an install on site

• Comfortable working at heights and with access equipment

• The ability to read a drawing and set out properly

• Good communication and an easy way with people, whether it's the crew, the client or other trades

• Happy to travel to jobs around the state

• A current driver's licence
