Located in Pascoe Vale, Dorothy Impey Home is a 95-bed aged care facility offering ageing in place. We are a stand alone, not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing outstanding care to our residents.

As a community-based, not-for-profit aged care facility, we are managed by a Board of Management comprised of dedicated volunteers.

About the role

You will provide professional care practice such as; assessments, exceptional reporting and care plan evaluations. You will plan, organise and implement nursing care in accordance with individual resident care plans and deliver and promote high standards of professional care.

Skills and experience

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (Grade 2) to join our team in a full-time maternity leave position. This is a 12-month contract, with shifts scheduled Monday to Friday, from 7:00am to 3:00pm.

The successful applicant will have:

• An understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards

• Outstanding communication skills

• Demonstrated ability to work well in a team

• Excellent time management skills

• Permanent work rights in Australia

• Current AHPRA registration

• Current national police certificate

• A minimum of 12 months aged care nursing experience

Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm (12-month maternity leave contract).
