The Role
The Air Lift Systems Program Office has an opportunity for a motivated individual to join the Engineering and Logistics Unit’s Engineering Governance team and contribute to important Air Force capability outcomes.
As the APS 6 Engineering Surveillance Officer, you will work under broad direction from the Platform Airworthiness Engineering Leads to support the safe and effective sustainment of the RAAF’s C-130J Hercules and C-27J Spartan aircraft.

About our Team
The Air Lift Systems Program Office at RAAF Base Richmond is a Business Unit within the Airlift and Tanker Systems Branch of the Aerospace Systems Division. ALSPO is responsible for sustaining and enhancing the RAAF’s C 130J Hercules and C 27J Spartan aircraft. In partnership with industry, ALSPO supports Air Mobility Group by delivering effective sustainment support solutions.
The Engineering and Logistics Unit within ALSPO is an integrated workforce of APS, ADF and contractor personnel working together in a dynamic aviation sustainment environment.
The Engineering Governance team supports engineering functions by reviewing activities, checking evidence, identifying risks and helping drive practical improvements. The team contributes to safe, compliant and effective sustainment outcomes.
