About Us

Lotus Accountants is a boutique accounting firm founded in 2015 by an ex Big 4 Director and Xero alumni with clients who we have worked with for decades. We specialise in the Film and TV industry and have a number of Family Office clients. 

Our practice is moving to a fully remote office with a presence in Sydney and Coolangatta.

About You

• With at least 5 years experience in Australian public practice you are proficient in Xero, have an Australian Accounting Degree, are a Qualified Chartered Accountant with experience in Discretionary Trusts, Payroll, outsourced family office services and foreign currency translations an advantage.

• Your attitude is conducive to an environment where you aren't micromanaged and have a high degree of autonomy provided.

• Strong technical tax skills are highly valued.

• Ideally someone who is mature and seeking part time work

Tasks & responsibilities

• Monthly accounting services payroll, tax and accounting compliance for Companies, Trusts and Individuals linked to those entities.

• Film and TV QAPE audits (we will teach you how to do this) 

• Family Office duties including managing the payments, cashflow forecasting and administration of investments.
