The Bakery Boorowa is a growing country bakery dedicated to producing consistently high-quality bread, savoury and sweet products. As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Head Baker & Production Manager to lead our Back of House team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on position where you'll spend the majority of your time working in production while leading and supporting the bakery team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Producing high-quality bread, savoury and sweet products.
• Leading and mentoring the Back of House team.
• Planning and coordinating daily production.
• Maintaining product quality and consistency.
• Monitoring stock levels and ingredient usage.
• Managing food safety, hygiene and compliance.
• Reducing waste and improving production efficiency.
• Working closely with the Business Owner to support business growth.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Certificate III in Baking or equivalent trade qualification.
• At least five years' commercial baking experience.
• Previous experience leading or supervising a bakery team.
• Experience producing bread, pastries, pies, cakes and other baked goods.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• A commitment to producing consistent, high-quality products.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $132,015.58 per year
