About the role

We are seeking a reliable , organised and customer-focused Customer Service & Dispatch Officer to join our dynamic team at our Dandenong South facility. You will be responsible for supporting customers throughout the order process, coordinating daily dispatches and working closely with our sales, warehouse and production teams to ensure orders are processed and delivered accurately and on time.

The ideal candidate is a proactive team player with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills and build a long-term career with a growing Australian-owned company.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner

• Process orders accurately and efficiently and maintain accurate records through the Odoo ERP system

• Prepare shipping documents, labels and delivery paperwork

• Arrange freight bookings and track shipments to ensure timely delivery

• Liaise with transport providers, customers and internal teams to coordinate logistics and delivery activities

• Coordinate closely with the Warehouse and Manufacturing teams to arrange and follow up on order fulfilment and dispatch

• Follow up delivery issues, shortages, damages and customer queries

• Assist with inventory management and monitor inventory accuracy

• Identify operational issues and assist with implementing practical solutions

• Assist with other day-to-day operations, sales coordination and administrative tasks as required
  

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working in a warehouse, manufacturing or distribution environment

• Strong proficiency with ERP and Microsoft Office applications,

• Previous experience with Odoo ERP is highly desirable

• Proven experience coordinating freight and transport providers

• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work collaboratively across teams

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion
