The Opportunity
We're currently seeking an experienced Insurance Building Estimator to join our growing team. In this role, you'll assess domestic and commercial insurance claims and prepare accurate reports, scopes of work, estimates, and tender packages.   

Key Responsibilities  

• Conduct site assessments to determine cause of damage
• Prepare detailed reports, scopes of work, and cost estimates
• Compile and submit tender packages in line with client requirements
• Coordinate supplier quotations and develop preliminary programs of work
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain service levels
• Assist with emergency works on rostered days
• Complete associated administration and documentation 

About You  

• Trade or building-related qualification in construction
• Full and valid driver's licence
• Experience in insurance building estimation (domestic/commercial)
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and think creatively under pressure
• Confident communicator with a collaborative mindset
• Comfortable working both on-site and in an office environment
• Experience dealing with strata, insurers, property managers, and government clients 

Please note: The successful candidate will be required to provide a National Police Check and Working with Children Card.
