Dental Assistant/Receptionist - Dentalcare Mt Barker

Looking to get your foot in the door of the dental industry? Dentalcare Mount Barker is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our team.

No previous dental experience is required. We’re looking for someone who is keen to learn, enjoys working with people and wants to build a career in a supportive practice environment.

This is a full-time position across a 9-day fortnight, giving you the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across both dental assisting and reception while enjoying a great work-life balance.

Job Description

As a Dental Assistant/Receptionist, you’ll learn and support our team across both the clinical and front desk areas, including:

Assisting our dentists and clinical team during patient appointmentsPreparing treatment rooms and maintaining infection control standardsSterilisation and maintaining clinical complianceWelcoming and supporting patients with a warm and professional approachManaging patient appointments and recallsAnswering phone enquiries and providing excellent customer serviceProcessing payments and health fund claimsSupporting the team with day-to-day practice operations

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who:

Is enthusiastic about starting a career in the dental industryIs friendly, approachable and passionate about providing great patient careHas strong communication and customer service skillsIs eager to learn and develop new skillsIs organised, reliable and able to multitask in a busy environmentEnjoys working collaboratively as part of a supportive teamHas a positive attitude and is happy to help wherever neededPrevious customer service, administration, hospitality or healthcare experience but not essential
