Team members work with modern tools and technology in a safety-conscious and performance-driven environment.Role Description The Industrial Painter role is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairns, QLD. The Industrial Painter will prepare surfaces through cleaning, masking, and abrasive blasting, and apply protective coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment according to specifications. Daily tasks include reading and following job instructions, mixing and matching paint and coatings, performing quality checks on finished work, and maintaining equipment and work areas. The role also involves following safety procedures, using personal protective equipment, and collaborating with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and quality standards.Qualifications Demonstrated experience in industrial painting, including surface preparation and application of protective coatings.Ability to safely operate blasting and painting equipment, including spray guns and related tools.Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow technical instructions, specifications, and safety guidelines.Good physical stamina and the capability to work in industrial environments, including standing, lifting, and working in confined spaces as required.Basic knowledge of corrosion control practices and coating systems (prior experience in heavy industry or marine environments is an advantage).Commitment to workplace health and safety, including the consistent use of personal protective equipment.Effective communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively within a team.Relevant trade qualification or equivalent industrial painting experience is preferred.
