About the role

We are looking for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our workshop team in Horsley Park. This is a full-time dayshift role with overtime opportunities, working alongside experienced mechanics to keep our specialised fleet safe, reliable and ready for work.

You will work across a diverse fleet that includes trucks, EWPs, wood chippers, loaders, excavators, stump grinders, light vehicles and small plant.

What we’re looking for

You are a trade-qualified mechanic who takes pride in quality workmanship and safety. You are practical, solutions-focused and able to work independently while contributing ideas that improve fleet reliability and workshop efficiency.

Essential requirements

• Certificate III in Heavy Diesel or equivalent trade qualification

• Strong commitment to safety, quality and attention to detail

• Ability to work autonomously and manage your time effectively

• A proactive, hard-working approach and strong problem-solving skills

Applications from Plant Mechanics, Light Vehicle Mechanics and Mechanical Fitters are also encouraged.

Desirable

• Truck licence, preferably MR or HR

• Experience with EWPs and/or hydraulic systems
