About the role
Gemco Rail, a subsidiary of Engenco Limited is the leading independent provider of rollingstock maintenance, products and services to the Australian and New Zealand rail markets.
Gemco Rail specialises in the manufacture, maintenance and overhaul of wagons, locomotives, passenger cars, rollingstock components and track maintenance equipement to support our customers to maintain their operations effectively and efficiently and maximise the life of their assets.
Gemco Rail is seeking a Planner to join our team at our Dynon site on a full-time basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in keeping rail operations running safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Working closely with our Operations and Maintenance teams, you will coordinate maintenance activities, manage fleet requirements, and support the delivery of customer commitments across a dynamic rail maintenance environment.
Based at our Dynon Maintenance Facility, you will be responsible for developing practical work plans, monitoring maintenance and project activities, providing schedule updates, and ensuring resources are aligned to operational priorities. You will also act as a key liaison for customer fleet requirements, helping to maintain strong relationships and deliver exceptional service outcomes.
