Lawyer - Class Actions and Commercial Litigation - Sydney

The role is focused on class action litigation, including shareholder class actions, consumer class actions, product liability class actions, and other large-scale representative proceedings in the Federal Court and state Supreme Courts. The partners also work on other major global disputes, including matters for clients headquartered in Asia, the UK and Europe.

To succeed in this role you will ideally have: 

• 2-4  years post admission legal experience.
• Experience in class action or complex commercial litigation is highly regarded, as are associateships with the Federal Court or state Supreme Courts.
• Experience in litigation in the Federal Court or superior state courts is advantageous
• An excellent academic record coupled with strong technical legal skills.
• A commitment to excellence and delivery of high quality outcomes to our clients.
• Ability to effectively manage your own time, managing competing tasks and at times working to tight deadlines.
• Strong drafting skills with specific ability to draft court documents, affidavits, expert evidence, and managing discovery in large-scale litigation.
• Trial experience is a plus.
• A high level of attention to detail.
• A team player mentality, with a supportive and collaborative working style.
