Luna Park Melbourne is looking for friendly, hard-working Cooks to keep our guests smiling (and well-fed) during the upcoming Spring school holiday and Event period.

If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, love helping people, and can bring energy to every shift, this could be your perfect role.

Permanent Part Time contracts available

Position requirements:

• Available for a minimum of 4 shifts per week – either 3 weekdays + 1 weekend, or 4 weekdays

• Contracted period within August 2026- October 2026, with potential for ongoing work beyond this time for the right candidates

• Must have (or have applied for) a Working with Children’s Check before commencing employment.

• Candidates must have unrestricted permission to work in Australia. 

• Candidates will have solid food preparation and cooking experience in a commercial kitchen, cleaning with attention to detail skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.

• To be considered for an interview, you must include a cover letter stating your availability and any prior commitments or blackout periods

Extra information:

• Cert II or Cert III in Commercial Cookery is highly regarded, but not essential

• Melbourne residents, students, or even those just passing through are all encouraged to apply
