About Us
Link2U Services are an NDIS registered provider who assist NDIS participants offering a range of support services including Support Co-ordination, Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Social and Community Participation to increase their independence by working with the participant and their carer, family and network of services to build their capacity and achieve their NDIS goals.
About the Role
Due to the expansion of our clientele, we are specifically seeking a female Support Worker to collaboratively engage and build a sense of security and safety to ensure our participant feels at ease whilst performing her daily living tasks which include:
personal care, domestic assistance, meal preparation, community participation, therapy programs and attending appointments.
The successful applicant will ideally have some paid or life experience in assisting a person who has physical challenges and the use of equipment aids including:
a toilet chair, shower commode, walking frame etc through safe manual handling techniques.
You must have a caring and patient personality to be able to build a successful rapport with the participant and their family. You will ideally reside in the Liverpool or surrounding area.
The successful applicant will join an enthusiastic and experienced team who are motivated to make change and improve participants quality of life.
Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience supporting participants with Mental Health conditions is essential.
Demonstrated experience supporting individuals with complex mental health needs, psychosocial disabilities and/or behaviours of concern.
Experience supporting participants who have experienced a stroke, or who live with Intellectual Disability, ADHD, Autism, or other complex support needs.
Relevant paid or unpaid experience will be considered; however, demonstrated Mental Health experience is required.
Certificate IV in Disability or a relevant qualification is highly regarded.
A strong understanding of person-centred support and the ability to confidently support participants with varying and complex needs.

A qualification in disability, aged care or similar (preferred)
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC number required or willingness to obtain)
Covid 19 Vaccinations - 4 doses (as permitted by NSW Health Services)
Current NSW Drivers Licence and the use of a comprehensively insured vehicle

Physically fit and energetic
Knowledge of Policy and Procedures
Excellent communication and written skills
Compassionate, empathetic and patient
Good computer skills and level of competency to use our CRM program

Tasks & Responsibilities
Perform personal care, domestic assistance, meal preparation, community participation, therapy programs and attending appointments.
Assist participant to mobilise with equipment aids and physiotherapy exercises
Motivate and build the participants confidence to participate in their daily living skills
Assist in the management of participants appointments
Engage and support the participant with their interests
Build effective relationships with the participant, their family and support network
Complete necessary reporting requirements
Reliable and punctual
Follow our company policy and procedures which underpin the NDIS practice standards.
