Snowflake / Data ArchitectJob Summary-
We are seeking an experienced Snowflake / Data Architect with 10+ years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-scale data warehouse and cloud data platform solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Snowflake, cloud data architecture, ETL/ELT frameworks, data modeling, and performance optimization, along with experience working in modern cloud ecosystems such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Key Responsibilities-Design and implement scalable and secure Snowflake data warehouse architectures for enterprise analytics and reporting.Define data architecture standards, best practices, and governance frameworks across the organization.Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support business intelligence and advanced analytics initiatives.Architect and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as DBT, Informatica, Matillion, Talend, Azure Data Factory, or AWS Glue.Implement data ingestion frameworks for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sources.Optimize Snowflake performance, including warehouse sizing, clustering, partitioning, caching, and query tuning.Design data lake and cloud-native data platform solutions integrating Snowflake with AWS S3, Azure Data Lake, or Google Cloud Storage.Establish data security, access controls, encryption, masking, and compliance policies within Snowflake.Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, BI developers, and solution architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Lead data migration and modernization projects from traditional databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, Netezza, etc.) to Snowflake.Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural guidance to development and engineering teams.Create and maintain architecture documents, data flow diagrams, standards, and operational procedures.
