About the role

Reporting to the Dining Experience Manager and Dining Floor Manager, The Dining Floor Coordinator will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of our dining areas. This is a hands-on leadership position, responsible for coordinating service, supporting the front-of-house team and ensuring our dining areas operate smoothly, efficiently and to a consistently high standard. You will be a visible leader on the floor, helping to coordinate staff, manage service flow, resolve guest concerns and ensure our team delivers outstanding customer service every day.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily front-of-house operations across our dining outlets

• Lead service on the floor and ensure smooth service flow, table allocation and staff deployment

• Coordinate staff breaks and ensure appropriate coverage during busy periods

• Support the opening and closing of dining areas and ensure presentation standards are maintained

• Assist with implementing and maintaining service procedures and standards

• Support the successful introduction of new and upgraded dining spaces

• Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming dining experience

• Respond to customer feedback and resolve issues professionally and promptly

• Support and coordinate with the Team Leaders and Front-of-House team members

• Assist with training new team members.

• Assist with labour management.

• Contribute to achieving dining revenue and service targets through strong customer service and engagement.

About you

• Has previous experience in hospitality, dining or a customer-facing environment

• Has demonstrated experience coordinating or leading a team

• Is confident working in a fast-paced dining environment

• Has exceptional customer service and communication skills

• Can confidently manage difficult customer situations and resolve issues

• Leads by example and enjoys being hands-on with their team

• Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in presentation and service standards

• Understands the importance of RSA, food safety and WHS compliance

• Is flexible and available to work across a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
