About the role
About Matrix Medical Imaging
Join a team where clinical excellence, collaboration and patient care come first.
Matrix Medical Imaging is a growing, privately owned diagnostic imaging provider with multiple clinics across Melbourne. As we continue to expand, we’re looking for passionate sonographers to join our supportive and highly skilled team.
We offer flexible full-time and part-time opportunities across a number of Melbourne locations, allowing you to find a role that suits your lifestyle and career goals.
At Matrix, we believe great patient care starts with great people. We foster a culture of teamwork, respect and continuous learning, where sonographers are supported to develop their skills, contribute to clinical excellence and enjoy coming to work each day.
Working alongside experienced radiologists and fellow sonographers, you’ll have access to modern GE ultrasound systems, ongoing education and a leadership team that genuinely values your contribution.
About the Role
As a Sonographer at Matrix Medical Imaging, you’ll perform a broad range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including general, musculoskeletal, vascular, small parts and obstetric imaging.
You’ll work closely with our radiologists, referring clinicians and colleagues to deliver accurate, timely and compassionate patient care while maintaining the highest clinical standards.
Whether you’re an experienced sonographer or an early-career sonographer looking to continue developing your skills, you’ll be supported to grow within a collaborative and professional environment.
What We Offer
• Competitive remuneration
• Flexible full-time and part-time opportunities
• Modern GE ultrasound systems across our clinics
• A supportive and approachable leadership team
• Ongoing professional development and education
• A collaborative workplace with experienced radiologists and sonographers
• A strong focus on clinical quality rather than simply throughput
• Opportunities to broaden your skills across multiple clinic locations
• Genuine career progression within a growing organisation
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
• Holds an accredited qualification in Medical Sonography
• Is ASAR accredited (or eligible for accreditation)
• Takes pride in producing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations
• Demonstrates excellent communication and patient care skills
• Has strong clinical judgement and attention to detail
• Enjoys working collaboratively within a supportive team
• Is committed to continuous learning and maintaining high professional standards
If you’re looking to join a practice that values its people, supports professional growth and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care, we’d love to hear from you.
