About Your Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in Control Systems Engineer (PLC/SCADA & Automation), joining its Sydney-based Rail & Technology Systems team. The role is responsible for the design, development, integration, commissioning, maintenance and ongoing support of control systems across major rail, road and transport infrastructure projects.
You will work across the full project lifecycle, partnering with project managers, engineers, clients and operational teams to deliver safe, reliable and innovative automation solutions.
Design, configure and maintain PLC, SCADA and HMI systems.Deliver engineering solutions from concept design through to commissioning and handover.Support maintenance, upgrade and renewal projects across transport infrastructure assets.Perform system integration, testing, commissioning and operational support.Develop engineering documentation including FDS, FAT/SAT procedures and commissioning plans.Troubleshoot and resolve control system faults and performance issues.Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering, operations and client teams.

You Will Bring
Experience with PLC, SCADA and HMI systems.Control systems programming and commissioning experience.Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and networking.Experience with Rockwell, Allen-Bradley, Schneider and/or Siemens platforms highly regarded.Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management capability.Engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience
