Jewellery Design & Sales Consultant

At Jarrett Jewellery you will have the opportunity to work in a local business in a multi-faceted role that includes sales, jewellery design, remodelling & repairs.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Sales of diamond jewellery and gemstones, progress to one-on-one design consultations when ready

• Provide advice in relation to jewellery and watch repairs (training provided)

• Maintain established customer service standards

• Visual merchandising (guidance provided)

• Share of various administrative tasks associated with running a modern jewellery business that has a physical store, an e-commerce website and social media presence

Skills and Experience

• Sales experience either in a retail or wholesale context. Experience or genuine interest in jewellery or fashion a must. Trend awareness essential. Design or artistic experience in any creative field is an advantage. We hire for attitude and will invest in jewellery-specific skills for the right candidate

• Confidence with computers is a must. We use a range of software including AI tools for efficiency and to help us deliver superior customer service.

• Minimum 1+ years of sales experience required

• A delight in problem solving will help you assess items requiring repair or refurbishment

• Good oral and written communication skills

• Accuracy and attention to detail

• Australian citizenship or permanent residency required

We specialise in custom jewellery design and manufacture, diamonds, and coloured stones as well as repairs, remodelling and valuations.
